Crust Bakery has been at the Fyshwick Markets since 2010, with Ignace Diompy buying Crust towards the end of 2021.

Ignace completed his pastry chef qualification in Strasbourg, where he grew up, having lived in Australia since 2018 and Canberra since 2019. 

Ignace works hard to include his French experience in the baked goods provided by Crust. A significant achievement has been increasing the range of sourdough bread to 14 different flavours. These include Soy and Linseed, Jalapeño and Cheddar, Sultana & Fig, etc.

There are also beautiful petit fours, pastries and baguettes, traditional meat pies and sausage rolls.

Crust sells a French-influenced range of pastries that caters to your many needs. They bake an excellent variety of cakes that vary through the seasons.

Along with your baked delicatessen, you can enjoy a barista-brewed coffee from one of Canberra's best roasters - ONA Coffee.

While Crust can become very busy, the staff aim to serve their customers quickly with a smile and are always willing to take the time to answer any questions customers may have.

Crust also supports APOD and veteran cardholders with 10% off all breads and pastries.
