FRUIT 

BERRIES   Strawberries good eating and lasting well with two growing areas WA and QLD in season. Raspberries scarce. 

APPLES  & PEARS  All good. 

CITRUS  It really is citrus time. Blood oranges and Cara Cara’s better value. Mandarins eating well with Honey Murcotts started. Seville oranges have started. Cumquats in season. Aussie navels in season. 

 PASSIONFRUIT Small passionfruit good value. 

EXOTIC  Quinces, Pomegranates, Persimmons, tamarillo, finger limes and starfruit available. 

PAPAYA Better value.

NUTS   Walnuts and chestnuts in season.  

VEGETABLES  

GOOD VALUE  Good value sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower and broccoli. 

CORN Better value this week 

BEANS AND PEAS Peas eating really well. Beans not cheap but crunchy and sweet.  

CARROTS Dutch Carrots very scarce this week with prices affected. 

TOMATOES  Local direct from the grower glasshouse cherry and grape tomatoes. 

POTATOES  Sebagoes and Dutch Creams looking good. Russet available a great chipping potato. 

EXOTIC Spaghetti Melon available. 

EGGPLANT AND CUCUMBER Affected by cold weather very scarce.
